Doesn't it make more sense to place both bottles on one side, rather than one on each side ? With stage bottles slung on your shoulder and hip d-ring, you reduce the range of motion of your arms, and reduce where your hands can reach. With one bottle on each side, you have handicapped BOTH arms. With all bottles on one side, you still have one arm that has complete range of motion.
Does this make sense ?
