I just bought a new OMS backplate system and am in the process of getting it adjusted to fit.
For anyone out there using this type of setup or similar, where do you place the chest strap? I have it right in the grove between the bottom of the pectoral muscle and the first abdominal muscle. Is this the correct placement? Any higher and it seems the D rings are to high to use.
Another question, I got the 55 lb. unbungeed wings for single tank use. They do have 45 lb. bungeed wings also. Are these better? I do understand about entanglement hazards but it seems that the bungeed wing would prevent drag and keep the wing nice and tidey and trim.
Any comments?
Thanks in advance.
