You should where it where you are comfortable. If in a dry suit above the inflator valve is more comfortable for me. I have a 45 OMS and a 95 OMS and a Dive Rite super wing. I have tried the OMS bungee and not.Personally I have found bungee the top and very bottom and not in between a happy median.I dont get as much uneven air shift. Diving the 45,55 with no bungee seems to work ok but the 95 really needs some placed on it. The 35 and 45 are really for single tank use 55 and above are for twins and extra equipment stage bottle etc. Snagging is a concern. No bungee with anything above a 45 will create some drag. If you do bungee keep them loose enough. I heard there has been one confirmed drowning due to the fact the bladder was not able to be orally inflated at depth. There are directions from OMS to follow.
