"You would care on a dive vacation having no computer doing repetitive dives and trusting your PADI dive table. On the third or fourth day of diving your bent and can not figure out why. "
One of reasons why your theory doesn't hold water is because a computer which does constant averaging and calculating allows a diver to spend more bottom time throughout the day and repetitive days. A diver who stays within table limits will spend much less time at depth and theorically be less likely to get bent.
