how many PADI instructors in the LA Area made donations or contributions to Chamber Day, and how many other instructors from other organizations made contributions/donations.

PADI may be headquartered in the area, but for me the real issue is what the local individuals, not the international corporations, are doing. What is especially important to me is what our local community leaders are doing (or not doing, as the case may be) for the community from which they are making money.

I went on a boat trip and bought $100 worth of raffle tickets, for a total of $175. Granted, I got a great boat trip and more, but when I signed up, I did not know whether or not I would be able to get the day off, and when I bought raffle tickets I did not know if I was going to win anything.

HOW MUCH DID TRIBES CONTRIBUTE? DID TRIBES EVEN PARTICIPATE?

If you are going to bash PADI (or anyone for that matter) for not making a contribution, then you better be ready to show us that YOU DID.

C'mon tirbes - put your money where your mouth is.
