Despite all the pontification, the simple fact of the matter is, the editors will delete the posts when they get around to it. If you want it done sooner, simply send the editors an email before you go get your
mask all fogged up. I can delete a ton of spam in a fraction of the time spent pondering the whims of the BBS editors.
