Your correct. They have been very interested in rebreathers in general. I've run the SCUBA program at NNMCand WRAMC in the DC area since 1987 and after 9/11 I've had inquiries and interest about folks who have called desiring rebreather training or rebreather information in general. Hey there's even web sites that tell you how to build your own. They are trying to "think-out-of-the-box" and anticipate potential threats. Far-fetched ... probably.
