The place with the 2 rocks sticking out beyond it is Flat Rock. I did my first lobster dive there the last night of season. It's also a great spot. I usually wind up half way between Flat Rock and Haggerty's when I enter at Haggerty's. My free diving buddies frequently start at Haggerty's, or even Malaga, and go to Flat Rock and back. Give me an email if you ever want to do a return trip to Flat Rock or check out some of the local waters around Palos Verdes. I'm always happy to go diving with new people who have a good attitude about killer hill climbs :-)
My PV Hill summary:
Flat Rock is the overall toughest hill I've found yet. Haggerty's is the most technical. Point Vicente "Cardiac Hill" is the longest but it's easy. Honeymoon cove is the most slippery.
Take Care,
Ross
