I agree with you. Actually ANDI promotes 50 not only for deco but bailout. The term "Best Mix" just refers to the nitrox that will give you the desired Po2 at a particular depth. This is why rebreather is so much more efficient than open circuit. Yes that was a plug for rebreathers.
