You have a target audience and your motivation is to promote your business.
Unfortunatly email is not the most polite nor effective media for introducing your business.
Email and telephone solicitation can cost you more in lost contacts simply by being to rude of an introduction.
Email solicitation is cheap for the sender but costs each recepient their time and bandwith to receive, view or delete.
Viewers of this BBS accept the banner adds by choice. They do not have to view the BBS with is supporting ads if they choose not to.
Therefore to avoid offending your target audience you might want to look into banner adverstising.
If they are interested in your services they will follow the banner ad to your site.
You will earn the appreciation of more customers with subtle marketing approach then with an in your face marketing assault.
