Warning..Newer Apeks regulators are having an uncontrollable free flow problem. The regulator will not stop free flowing without the tank being shut off.
This will lose you lots of gas on a deeper dive(or any dive). It could be even more of a problem with HE in the mix. Apek quick fix is a gas shut off value, between the LP hose and the 2nd stage (another failure point).
I knew there was a reason I liked my Atomic Regulators (I guess you do get what you pay for).
