I saw that picture too and thought that was kinda strange that they would have a picture like that in a DAN magazine. Especially since it was in an article about their studies on the table for 2002. The configuration that guy is using look really uncomfortable. Oh, the pic in reference is on pg 12 in the July Alert Diver.
It does not appear to be a stage or pony, in fact, it looks like a single tank setup.
