Commercial divers wear their bailout bottles inverted because the dive hat interferes with access to the valve. Wouldn't be safe in scuba applications. Just imagine a scuba newbie's bottle slipping out of a bc tank strap and hitting the deck square on that valve! WHOOOOOOOSSSHH!
