Went out on the Spectre last sunday with friends and had a great time! Did one dive at Santa Cruz and three at Anacapa. Saw huge batrays on every dive. They seemed to be paired up and some were missing parts of thier tails. They were very curious and came with in a couple of feet a few times. Watched a 5 foot swell shark cruise around at the landing cove until a sea lion showed up and stole the show. Also saw many lobsters, juvenille blacksmiths, huge calicos and sheepshead. Vis averaged 25-30 ft. Current was strong away from land, so we kept near shore and started our dives heading into the current. The day ended with hundreds of dolphins surrounding us at one point, on the boat trip back! Captain and crew were great.
