There's a lot to be said for a 2nd stage that has only 3 o-rings, a rubber plate, and a zip tie in their service kit.
I've used the 300 in some exceptionally nasty conditions & they've served me well.
Recently a 5000 was found on a pony tank, it'd been sitting on the bottom for TWO YEARS. The critter worked when hooked up to air, and needed only the annual service kit to be put back into service.
Talk about a stress test.
