Looks like the leopard sharks are back in town. I was diving Leo today and saw about 10 ranging in size from two to four feet. Last year in late July at Point Dume you could see 50 per day day.
Todays dive was very good as I saw lots of unusual (to me ) stuff. Like a "rope jelly-fish".... alot of littlte jellyfish strung together like a rope..... no I wasn't smoking nuttin!!!! This was the first time that I had seen or heard of something like this?? I saw an urchin stripped of it's spines sitting on the sand without a sheepshead around... and a big old white sea bass coming out to take a close look only to scurry away before I got my gun around... WSB+1 Me+0........Near the end I was holding my breath well and wished that I could grow gills...it was really nice down there!!
