Drop by the LAUPS (L.A. Underwater Photographic Society) http://www.laups.org/ They'll guide you in the art of photographing or video taping those dismantled wrecks or those to be shot fish. Excuse the sarcasm, CWD is a fine orgainization that works hard to perserve our underwater Maritime history. And, I've shot plenty of fish in my time prior to doing so with video. Or try the OCUPS (Orange County U/P P.S.) http://ocups.org/ They are a little more of a 'blue collar' club, and dive more locally.
