I think we are over 40 divers who signed up to volunteer for the O.C. group with Nancy as the diving biologist. Five of us just did two dives yesterday morning, and the next dives are scheduled for July 2. Conditions were quite favorable with flat seas and very little surge.
40 divers may sound a lot, but reality shows that on any given day, only a few are available. So, don't hesitate to sign up with your local chapter if you are interested in participating. If you have time, there is a very good chance that you will be diving.
