I don't know about parking, but the QM definitely had a better atmosphere and was a great location. I always got there early of course and never found parking a problem in the morning.
Convention center was nice too though. Although I arrived at the show yesterday at 11am at parking was very bad. I was forced to park north of Ocean Blvd.
