I always have my snorkel even though at times its a huge
pain the ass. But if I go in to get a diver on the surface
and haul his butt back to the boat, I dont bother donning
scuba and that there snorkel comes in right handy as
I motor over and retreive. Of course its much easier to
send the chase boat but on occasion I do end up getting
wet.
When on scuba I still have it- I move faster face down
on a long surface swim and I dont like wasting air. I've
thought of the fold up kind for my pocket but then I have
a habit of opening pockets underwater and things float
right out of them.
And most important, if I drop my clear mask I can find
it again w/that bright yellow snorkel.
