Dive boast here in SOCAL are a bargain. Our east coast ops charge in the vicinity of $85+ for a two-tank offshore trip. You bring EVERYTHING, tanks, food, etc ... there are no fills between dives, no food (except for what the folks that are sea sick will let you have) and no places to snooze. Most dive sites are 100' + and the warmer, clearer water is 6/7hrs away first by car and then add a 2/3hr boat ride (better sites are 28-30+ miles at sea or more) The folks back home don't believe A/C bearths, fine food (desert too) and air fills.
