On July 4th I dove Egale Rock & Black Rock ay Catalina.
The water was in the 60's above 55 ft.
Visibility was about 45 ft., however there were very few fish to be seen.

Then on Friday July 5, I went out on again the Great Escape and dove Palos Verdes.
The water here too was warm, and the area was swarming with fish.
On the second dive, off of old Marineland, I was in a very large school of sardines.
There was some very fast yellowtail (about 8 to 10 lb size) working the school.
These are first yellowtail I have seen this year.
