Hmmm, I guess that depends on what you consider a beach. If a lake shore counts then I did a ton of them this past year.
If not, then count me for somewhere around 30 to 35 beach dives, which would be about 30% of my ocean diving total this past year (not in classes). That doesn't count freediving, though, which was almost entirely from the beach and would easily be another 40 "dives" (or diving sessions, whatever you want). I think I went freediving off a boat half a dozen times this past year.
