I wouldn't buy on eBay/remotely if you can't try it on first.
BP- stainless steel backplate. Couple of girls I know diving with it are in love with that thing.
If it's supposed to be just for 5-10 dives, go with good quality rentals - advantage is you can try different brands and sizes and decide which one is best in water.
If it's supposed to last, get BP.
