I did 2 beach dives during my PADI OW class, and 1 beach night dive during advanced OW. We did the dives at La Jolla shores. I dont know how you can teach a class and not do a beach dive. It was great time and we learned alot from it. We also learned to appriciate the boat dives we did the day before.
