I always thought that just cruzin around underwater would be cool enough for me. But now I have to admit a desire to try something else: spearfishing. What is the best way to learn this sport. I know nothing about this and there really are very few classes. I've been on some trips to the channel islands and am going again in two weeks. That may be a little early for me to get up to speed and get the right equipment but how can I use some of the recreation dives as pre-cursers to learning to spearfish. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
