Some very good advice here, I agree that it is a good idea to go with a good hunter, learn the ends and outs, gun safety is the big thing for me, you can not only hurt other divers, or fish you did not want to take, you can get yourself as well, that spear is not very forgiving. Learn safety, take your time, take only what you will use. I plan on posting a dive report for last weekend, I started posting for Seahunt, I dive, and spearfish off Washington State.
