I think our recent Chamber Day is the best baromiter. Most local dive boats participated, and all charged $75.00 with 100% going to support the chamber. Now with all boats charging the same (except for a food and air surcharge some boats added, other charged as you went), the only difference is the service and the boat. The Great Escape sold out first, followed by other great boats. The Iron Eagle, if I remember correctly had open spots still available just days before the event.

I have never dove the Iron Eagle. I have seen it sitting in port, rust running down the side, and a slight, but noticalbe list to starboard the day I saw it. Nothing about this boat looked inviting. I ahve spoken with those who did dive her. The Great escape is very large (80'x25'), wide and comfortable, with great food and a crew that knows how to treat you. The Cee Ray does a very good job as well, but, between them, I would choose the Great Escape.
