I was at SBI on Friday the 12th and the viz wasnt bad.
Wasnt perfect, but pretty darn good. We dove Arch
Point and Arch Reef- which by the way is FANTASTIC!
That underwater arch is really cool and I saw a lot
of purple hydrocoral on the site. There was an abundance
of invertibrates in the area and I saw 4 different
types of Nudibranchs on the one dive alone. Also so
nice sized sheepshead and one bat ray.
Current was very little that day and the only thing to
make it better would have been sunshine.
Arch Point was the usual sealion antics, a few came
over to play and one of the group got some really
nice video. I would gander, and I'm very bad at distance
judging, that the viz was around 50' at Arch Reef.
I would really like to hit that site again!
