I agree it is good dialog and healthy for the BBS.
As a side note, this is not directed at you.
Posts are not deleted because we do not like someone. However, if a post draws the attention of an editor, any one of three editors it may give it a reaction. As stated many times before, we do not read all posts, and therefore we cannot react to every offending case.
The editor's reaction will be entirely subjective of their interpretation of the rules and the offending post(s). There is no possibility of black or white for every case. There will at times be grey areas.
To imply anything more is wishful thinking and cannot be rationalized. It is easy to draw conclusions, much more difficult to support them.
