I almost always like diving from the Great Escape. Excellent dive boat. The different dive groups just have different personalities and it is probably just a matter of finding the right groups. I always love your open boats. As for the groups, I like those with the more relaxed atmospheres - I get enough stress at work.
The Sea Divers trips are excellent. I also like the groups that provide the option the option of staying out for a long dive while everybody else does two - more experienced divers tend not to consume air. For that same reason I don't mind diving with classes on board - even if the dive site does get a little soupy.
Restrictive gate times can be as bad as being stradled with an inexperienced dive buddy.
