Partly I don't think they know what they sound like and partly it is the coursening that seems to happen with the anonymity of the internet.
What I find amusing is how many people either don't understand why we want this board kid accessable or why any allowance should be made for kids. I repeatedly see people claim that editing of profanity on this board is totally arbitrary, but no editor here made up the rules used by the cyber nannies.
It is also disappointing, because there definately is a lot of good stuff on the other board. Nobody ever accused me of being correct, but I can be pretty loaded and still don't get nasty, especially around families and kids.
