I hate to disagree with you, but most of the boards are actually worse. Look at Rodale's (#1) or the tech boards. Now, it would be nice if the board was as amiable as DiverLink which is quite special, but it's not and a great deal of the problems can be traced to one person and that's the way it is.
This board does try though to serve the California diving community as best it can. I hope you can find the good and ignore the twits as the rest of us do.
