I am a proud member of Team 7A (Sunday mornings), and my older son is an aquarist volunteer. You should definitely e-mail Margaret or Pete if you have interest. The Aquarium's website has all the info you need. You must commit one half day per week and we drive down from Thousand Oaks, but the payback is well worth it. There is a wide variety of highly informative free seminars on marine life taught by a team of dedicated marine biologists, you can renew your CPR and 02 provider certifications for a nominal fee, and you will meet some of the nicest and most capable divers in the local area. I believe the entry requirements are 60 logged dives and rescue level certification. You also must take a written exam and demonstrate competency in a handful of basic skills, and participate in an interview.
