The CG found THIRTY things wrong with the Iron
Eagle on the most recent inspection. Those had
accumulated since the previous inspection.
Furthermore, even if a boat is completely up to
snuff for inspection, it could still be operated
unsafely. So your argument doesn't hold water.

If you are, you musta been an AOL user for a
LOOOOOONG time as that ID would have gone early.
Also, I'm not sure inspections are annual -- note
that some of the vessels I cited in the URL above
have certificates that are good for more than a
year.
