If it's been a while since you've been in the water, or if you just want to improve your beach diving skills, then come on up to Point Dume on Saturday, August 10th and participate in the Rips, Rocks, and Reefs workshop, hosted by the Greater Los Angeles Council of Divers and the L.A. County Underwater Instructor's Association.
We will meet at Westward Beach at 8 am and start with an Underwater Naturalist presentation followed by a presentation on beach diving and surf zone dynamics. This will be followed by an in-water demonstration.
The in-water work will be done in snorkelling equipment.
After the session concludes, we will kick back and have a BBQ.
