When you get older [40s, 50s, etc] then bulkier is also easier to read.

Signs of old age creeping up on you:

Vision starts to lose focusing ability close up starting around Age 40. It strikes out of nowhere. One day, you can read fine. Next day, you wake up and all of a sudden, you have to pay a visit to the Eye Doctor.

Athletic ability and recovery from exertion starts to take longer, a lot longer, starting around Age 45. You find this out while jogging and playing tennis and BBall with younger guys.

Memory starts to fail as you approach ... AHEM ... the Big 5-0.

Your enthusiasm for things small and UN-bulky betrays your youthfulness. Enjoy it while it lasts. Nothing lasts forever on this Earth.
