Thanks to all who responded on the previous post. I have tried both ways, but I'm not sure which I prefer. However, when wearing scuba gear, my center of gravity is thrown off, making me back-heavy. Now, if I enter walking forward, fins in hand, I find even smallish waves tend to push me backwards. If I am knocked over (been there, done that!) I will go flying and tumbling back to the beach. If I walk backwards, I can lean into the wave, and the force of the wave tends to keep me upright. Do others have this problem? How do you overcome the force of the waves puching backwards, plus handle the weight of the tank? Do I need to hit the gym more often?!
