Cool. I was certified in 1970 as well, but I got the Junior Scuba Diver
Certification and somehow never got upgraded.
It was really great getting together with Eric again and his friends were
real nice guys. It's nice going with people that have experience and a
comfort level.
I know a few of the old timers from this area, but most people I used to
dive with, are used to. Also, solo works better here. Maybe that loses
something.
Ya know, thinking about where you dive has made me just about drool ...
(well, been having a problem with that lately anyway, but...) It sounds
like you have a lush place to dive. Still, while I suspect the fish might
be bigger, I suspect that the diving there on Colby Reef would be comparable
even to your area. It was one incredible dive. I'll try to finish the report
when I can, but I still have to get the pics as well.
Try to come next year. We plan to stay up there instead of south at Sea
Ranch
