MHK's back from an extended teaching schedule, a tech 1 in NYC, a
DIR-F class in NYC and a DIR-F class in Boston and he thought that he
would take this opportunity to remind the BBS that on Wednesday
evening at 7:00 pm he will be hosting a DIR demo and beach dive
session at Redondo Canyon.
MHK will gladly provide a BP and wings for anyone that wants to try
them, but you need to let him know ahead of time if you want to try a
set, he and other representatives of GUE will also be available to
answer ANY questions or demonstrate any of the recommended skills that
DIR advocates promote.
The diving, the gear and the Q & A will all be FREE of charge and it
is open to all diver's whether they be DIR, non-DIR, or just have a
curious passing interest in DIR.
The plan is to get there by 6:30pm, set-up, answer questions and plan
to be in the water by 7:00. It's also planned to grab a bit to eat
afterwards [ place to be determined at the dive site] and welcome
anyone to join and answer any questions that you may have.
