I'm not familiar with this term. What do you mean by "calculation." The plus rating is for 10% over the rated pressure, and a hydrostatic test fills the tank to 5/3 of whatever pressure you're testing to (i.e., a tank rated to 2400 psi would be tested at 4000 psi. With the plus rating, the 2400 psi tank is good for 2640 psi, and the hydro test pressure would be 4400 psi). Is there something I'm missing? Is there some additional information from the manufacturers that is necessary to do a plus rating test?
