If every thing goes according to your dive plan sure everything will turn out well for most. In this case and I will not site sanarios, it would not have taken to much for this diver to have gotten into serious trouble even with a buddy. If she has the experience you say, she is only showing her lack of concern for her own safety and that of the potential rescuers. It does not matter how much air she came back with. What matters is did she start the dive correctly.
