Hello again Brad, I like to hear about guys like your friend that lives a good distance from the Ocean, makes the effort to get to it, then does not abuse it, and shares or uses what he takes. I drive 120 miles one way for 3 to 4 days of diving, with Scuba gear, 13 1/2 foot RIB. If I just stuck with the posted limits of 15 Rockfish and 12 Rock Scallops per day I would have way to much. My family loves fresh seafood, most of the time I come back from 3 days of diving with maybe 1 day limit. I returned last night from a trip of 4 days, and we feast tonight, with the added delight of a 12 pound fresh Silver Salmon I caught while pole fishing Saturday. Happy Skiff boating.
