Thanks for the link and maybe that is how the tour guide did it that I enjoyed going with on a bicycle tour through Munich in 1998. We were about 20-30 participants with each of whom the guide had a chat during the tour. Toward the end of the tour, he had us line up in a semi-circle and then he addressed each and every one of us by name and I was not the only one being flabbergasted. I asked him later how he did it and he didn't give away his technique. Just said that it comes natural to him. Well, I'm a natural for forgetting names.
