The cargo compartments on modern jets are
pressurized. It's easier to pressurize the whole
fuselage than to pressurize only part. (In fact,
there was a DC 10 crash a number of years ago in
Paris because the baggage handler didn't secure
the baggage door correctly, the door blew, the
passenger compartment floor bulged down and jammed
the control systems.

And even had it been unpressurized, it would have
been no different than hooking it up to a 5 PSI
tank.

Note: "Pressurized" means about 7000' above
sea level.
