Steve, what do you suppose you're net negative buoyancy needs to be with a drysuit, stages, lights, reels and double 80's? Going back to a previous post, the stages, reels and lights swing from 9 to 3, the tanks swing from negative 6 to positive 6. Since the example requires you to be net 20 negative at the end of the dive, you need a 20 lbs weight belt, plus steel plate, to hover empty. Therefore, you're 9 + 6 + 20 + 6 - 20=21 net negative at the end of the dive. That requires a 21 lbs "air bubble" in your wing to be neutral at the beginning of the dive.

Now, since I'm so ignorant, how am I less streamlined and efficient with 104's as I am with 80's under the same configuration. I need your help, Steve, since I can't seem to figure out the difference on my own.
