This sunday there's a free festival in Santa Monica put on by the baykeepers, It will have info on their kelp project, a walk through kelp forest (great for kids), info on environmental issues, entertainment, booths, etc.
Sun. Sept 8th, 11am-4pm where Ocean Park Blvd. meets the beach in Santa Monica.
