I have seen IANTD and TDI instructors use these computers for the deep air phases of their tech courses. The computer costs around $900 out of the box, and any other gauge mode computer is going to cost less and work just as well.
I dont see why people even buy these. With the availability of helium in most tech dive stores, you are going to be diving with trimix most of the time anyway on your deep dives, and the Nitek cant handle trimix. It is a piece of tech gear without a viable niche in the market.
