There are actually at least three types (maybe more) of steel 72s with slightly different bouyancies.
I discovered this when trying to find a matched set for doubles.
I know that one of my steel 72's is about +0.5 lb. at 500 psi.

I usually measure my tanks.
Fill a trash can with water, put the tank in, and use a fish scale.
If the tank is positive add enough weight to make it negative and then measure it subtracting the addtional weight.
