A friend of mine went out on the Horizon of San Diego, and when he got back, he noticed that the adjacent Pt. Lomo Fish Market was selling "Black Sea Bass" for $8.99/lb.
How could this be, with the protection of the Black Sea Bass? Does anyone in San Diego know anything about this? Is it BSB imported from Mexico? Is it bycatch? By what means can anyone catch an sell BSB in California?
